-5 is the answer normally. Of course, with Daylight Savings, the actual gap is 4 hours instead. So the actual time zone is -5, but the effective time zone for this time of year is -4.

(GMT = Greenwich Meridian Time, or Greenwhich Mean Time, or the time zone in England.)

Your GMT is the same as everyone else's. GMT is constant all over the world. What you're probably looking for is the Local time in Fl, which is in the eastern time zone and 5 hours behind GMT during standard time and 4 hours behind during daylight savings time.

I live in Florida and don't know what you mean by "gmt". Greenwich Mean Time? generic mapping tools? we're eastern time.
