6/x^2+3x/4x^2

Multiply first fraction by 4
24/4x^2 + 3x/4x^2
24 + 3x / 4x^2

6/x² + 3 / 4x
= 24/4x² + 3x / 4x²
= (1/4x²).(24 + 3x)
= (3/4x²).(8 + x)
