I keep a large cup by the sink and fill it up. Then with the water off I have plenty of water for me to brush and the other 2 in the crowded queen bed.
Also have a large pail in the shower to collect the water until it gets hot. Plants love it.

No, i just pour water on my brush and in a cup then turn it off. Then i put toothpaste and brush, whenever i need water I will rinse my mouth with the cup but that's it, i don't waste water unnecessarily.

as i have a flow through spring, whether or not i leave the water on is irrelevant, as for green; being an organic, seed saver, use what i got, mtn. boy , raise bees, grow most of my own food, and hunt most of the rest, heat with renewable fuel resources, and did most of the work on my land myself, i'd say i'm pretty green.... btw, my rover does run on corn that i grow, brew, and still myself, i buy very little petroleum, so as not contribute to the islamofascist/terrorists , how about you?

I usually remember to turn it off, unless I'm in a hurry, running behind and forget. It is an easy way to conserve.

I turn off the water while brushing my teeth and when washing dishes. the water saver device on the shower head broke so I don't use it as much. my showers are only 15 minutes usually.
