He did not ejaculate anywhere near the opening but both of our "areas" were rubbing...mostly on the clitoris area.

Depends how heavy the petting is.

If his sticky stuff gets onto your juicy bits, it IS possible. If the boy ejaculates (or leaks a bit) and it ends up dribbling onto the entrance to your vagina, or either of you touch it then touch your vagina (or worse, put any inside) then you run the risk of getting pregnant. It could even happen if he dribbles onto your panties and then you pull them on...

Sperm will eventually die in normal air temperature - they dry up or cool off. However, this can take half an hour or more, depending on how hot and humid things are. Sperm could survive up to 5 days in the vagina, or maybe anywhere else wet, body temperature, and not too acidic or alkalai.

A guidance counsellor (ex-prest) at our school mentioned once that they had counselled cases over the years where 'nice Catholic girls" were still technically virgins but were pregnant. I assume the couples were rubbing together and he went off at or near her opening.

Suzanne Somers (from 3's Company) describes in her autobiography how she got pregnant while still wearing her panties; he was "dry humping" her - suddenly it turned into "wet humping". A layer or two of thin cloth isn't going to stop a flood of sperm.

The moral is, "be careful where it goes". Oh, and like your mother said, "wash your hands - with soap!"

It depends on what he was petting? What do u mean by heavy petting? Did you guys have clothes on? Off? If he ejaculated anywhere close to your vagina its possible but not likely, but then again you neveru know what your chances are. Next time you ask a question just try to be more specific, petting can go anywhere from petting your private part with his hand, or his penis.

All these questions seem the same. If you have to ask you're not old enough or responsible enought to be even involved to do heavy petting. Adults should know better. But as long as his penis doesnt physically touch your vagina you should be okay. If it does and he happens to precum which is usually clear and you can't tell if youre sweating if its only a little if it goes in the slightest yes you can get pregnant.

Theoretically yes, in practice probably not. If the male ejaculates very close to the vagina, it's possible that a few of the little buggers will make their way in. But not likely.

I knew a girl once who was pregnant and they had not even penetrated yet! Really, really heavy petting can lead to pregnancy, but that's because the sperm got too close to the target!

Heavy petting... Hahaa... that is hillarious! I guess that 50's video you watched in health class today prompted this question??? Not if you both had clothes on, and there was no ejaculation on to your bare vagina.

Whew... kids these days...
Guess good ol' yahoo will raise them

OK , petting BEFORE you know how babies are conceived is like getting into a semi-truck to drive for your first drive lesson .
Did they Not cover it in school ?

BEFORE any making out you must learn >
1) How babies are conceived
2) How easy it is to contract sexually transmitted diseases (which you can get from making out due to some peoples sex habits ).

Only if there is semen on whatever he is petting you with. Example: if he comes all over his hand and sticks the sperm-covered hand into (or onto) your vagina. If it's just your hands on his stuff and his hands on your stuff, there will be no problem.

If the penis didn't go anywhere near the vagina then no. If it did then yes.
