I have a photograph of interesting rock folding and wish to know where it is and anything about it. Anyone like to have a go..please have a look at:-

Fairly sure it's Hatland Point, Devon, UK. If it is, then the rocks folded are turbidites (deep marine sediments) of Carboniferous age, and fall within the British part of the Variscan orogen.

not sure where it is, but it's pretty! try looking at a geological map, for some similar folding patterns and unconformities? you may not find that exact place, but you'll find some other interesting sites.

I've seen similar formations in the Orkney Islands, north of Scotland. It could be one of those.

i would also say northern scotland on the west coast
