Lets see: Honeysuckle? Lonicera alseuosmoides is a honeysuckle vine that is hardy in zones 6 to 8. Dropmore honeysuckle is a vine hardy in zones (4)5-7. Goldflame honeysuckle is a vine hardy in zones 4 to 9, but best in zones 5 to 9. Trumpet honeysuckle is a vine hardy in zones (3)4 to 9 (finally a honeysuckle that might survive in zone 3-4, but this honeysuckle does best in full sun. It only tolerates shade and may not bloom, but at least it tolerates your climate). Italian Honeysuckle is a vine hardy in zones 5 to 7(8). Woodbine Honeysuckle is a vine that grows in zones 4 to 8. Tellman Honeysuckle is another vine that only grows in zones 5 to 7. So much for the honeysuckles.

Philodendron is not cold hardy. Trumpet vine is only cold hardy to zone 4. Boston Ivy and English Ivy will not tolerate zone 3-4. Clematis is full sun and only hardy to zone 4. Silver lace vine ( Polygonum aubertii) grows in shade but only takes cold to zone 4.

Tara vine ( Actinidia arguta) is an aggressive vine, grows in just about any soil, takes part shade and cold hardy in zone 3-7b.

American Bittersweet ( Celastrus scandens). Cold hardy to zones 3-8. Tolerates shade, but many not produce berries. Vigorous and deciduous vine.

Clematis is beautiful. It will do fine in lower light as long as it gets some sun. Buy a roll of bird netting (made to go over plants to keep birds off) at a home improvement store. Makes it much easier for the tendrils to hook onto. It's not all that pretty until it gets covered, but it's worth it.

Of course, plain old ivy is beautiful and loves low light.

I don't know the proper name but my neighbor had a type of grape vine that constant cutting wouldn't kill. It covered his fence and crept into my yard, twining around my fence, plants and trees. Eventually I had to saturate the ground with weed killer to get rid of it (the neighbor was grateful). Along my fence, I planted honeysuckle. This also creeps and twines around everything, however, it has the most incredible aroma when in bloom and provides us some privacy from the neighbors.

Philodendrons are tropical plants and not cold hardy. They will die in your zone during the winter. Other shade tolerant vines are ivy (not really a personal favorite), autumn clematis, climbing hydrangea,

Look for a Mandevilla, that will grow in your zone, they have pink to white flowers. Some are root hardy to 5F Put newspaper over the soil, or pine needles, what ever you use for other plants to protect them. Hoyakins

Philodendrons will do well in lower light, as well. They vine quite plentifully if given enough nutrients (like MiracleGro potting soil, or the like). I have several that are threatening to take over my house.

Try a honeysuckle, personally I'm trying to kill off the invasive things, but if a vine is what you want, this will grow fine.
