By change the world, I don't mean change myself. i would have said that if that's what I meant. I mean change the WORLD.

NO matter how much you change yourself, you cannot change the person next to you. These people are illusionists. There not giving you an answer to your question. This is what THEY do - and this is why the world is so f**ked up - because it's every person for themself.
I've been where you are. But no matter how much I want to change the state of this world, I can't (we can't) do it alone. the world has to come into one accord and change as a whole.
If you get your life straight with God (of the Bible), and make sure you complete HIS will, then he will make sure that the ways of this world do not hinder your life and calling.

Start with yourself! As the song says, "Let there be peace on earth, and let it begin with me."
Begin a relationship with God. Speak to him and try to hear him (your inner voice). I highly recommend Jesus and a translation of the Bible that you can understand.
Love yourself, Accept yourself, good and bad. Work on your strengths, and try to minimize your bad habits. Work on what you love.
Love other people. This is very difficult. Have a listening ear. Forgive their faults, but don't let anyone abuse you, at least not constantly. Take an interest in what's important to them. Help out when you can, but don't burn yourself out.
Find a cause you believe in, or an interest you love, and join a group that believes in that same cause or interest. Work positively together to help make this a better world.
Think globally; act locally.

You are going to need some help and lots of money and you only have your lifetime to do it. I will need to see the detailed outline of what you want to change it into before I make any commitment of approval or assistance.

It is rather like eating an elephant, you know one bite at a time. In your case one person at a time. For every person you influence they will influence more and therefore you have a linear progression. Good luck.
