if you have read (and for some I'm asking a awful lot) then you would realize their ideas. Hillary Clinton has made several statements about reform gov't. Barack Obama has made statements regarding boarder security. And Edwards has made statements about health care. These ideas of course nobody knows because they either don't know how to read, or they don't want to read.

The majority of Congress (Democrats and Republicans) do have a winning plan. It is simply for the US to "mind their own business" and get out of Iraq.
They have sent that message more than once to President Bush.
The real fear that President Bush has is that if the terrorists take over Iraq and become Oil rich, their religious fanatics beliefs resulting in murder will spread big time throughout the World. I support his philosophy.
The present Congress and the poll number of people do not look at that possible situation.
The terrorist have one goal "to obey Allah's wishes".
For the present time President Bush is keeping the terrorist's acts in Iraq and away from the US.
There is no Victory. And there will never be a victory until the religious fanatics disobey "Allah". That ain't going to happen for quite a while!

There will be no winning in Iraq, not for anyone,oh except one I can think of.
The plan was passed today, and that is there is no plan, dates maybe no plan, for what? We didn't have one going in we won't have one going out.
We will leave Iraq just as we left Viet Nam,A smashed worse off place then when we arrived.
Iraq has been taken over by at least 50 different tribes, nations
whatever you want to call them in the last several centuries.
It is a Religious war,It won't stop when we leave,in fact their fighting each other now,for power and money.
So years from now it will be the strongest, most powerful, treacherous and murderous religious leader that runs the country.
The U.S. can hold the Iraq government to anything it wants, but it won't change a thing except for how many more Americans get killed, maimed and emotionally shot for life.
Or how many commit suicide after they come home.which will happen.
What U.S. interests are we talking about? a Mcdonalds or something, maybe the air bases that were to be built in the middle of Iraq,no that couldn't have been part of a plan.it wasn't told to the American people.
To shed a little more light, try taking to a neighbor or someone on this site about religion, throw in a few of your beliefs that don't quite go with theirs and see what happens.

Here is a crazy one.
Secure the borders of Iraq and the leave the infighting for the Iraqi military to take care of.
Pick a side in the civil war. I say we go with the Sunnis, because Shites don't like us anyway(see Iran) and maybe we can drum up some good will with with the rest of the Arab nations and loosen the tightening grip of influence by Iran on the Middle East.
This type of thinking defines the enemy and allows for a victory.
Once you have the Arabs(sunnis) on board with the US, then MAYBE, just MAYBE we force a resolution to the Israeli/Palestinian conflict that works and in the process remove all influence of groups like Hezbollah and Iran.
What do you think?

Democrats do not have a plan for Iraq other than FAILURE. After all, they are the Party of Living in Everyday Sin, the Party of FAILURE, and the Party that leaves you behind in the dark. I have two reasons why Democrats HAVE NOT PLAN for the Iraqi People;
1. Democrats ARE FAILING to show compassion to the Iraqi People. These people had to suffer for over 30 plus years under Saddam Hussein who used mass genocide and Weapons of Mass Destructions against his own people and Democrats act like if Hussein was Mr. Perfect.
2. Democrats want the United States of America to leave Iraq NOW and do not understand what will happen if we leave without completing our mission. I believe that if the United States leaves Iraq, there will be mass genocide throughout the country and the government will collapse and there will be genocide like what occurred in Rwanda in 1994. Anyone Democrat who believes that the United States should leave Iraq should watch the movie Hotel Rwanda to learn about the Rwandan Genocide in 1994 and know that Bill Clinton and the Democratic Party DID NOTHING for the Rwandan People in 1994 and the Democratic Party is doing NOTHING for the Iraqi People now and besides, do Democrats want to see another genocide like what happen in Rwanda? I THINK NOT.

The plan? If it is the same one that was used to get out of Viet Nam, it is easy:
This country will push more and more responsibility upon Iraq to fight its own war. This will be done over several months. An untimatum will be quietly given to the Iraqis that by X date, the assistance of the United States will cease. On that date, the United States will declare that the country is now in stable hands, the the goals of the United States have been met, that we are victorious, and we will leave --- perhaps not by helicopter off of the embassy roof to waiting ships like last time, but we will for sure be outa there. In 30 years, as in Viet Nam, it will be a tourist destination.
To have entered Viet Nam was a huge mistake.... Johnson was bogged down in a mess that was begun in the 50's with Eisenhower, and expanded with Kennedy. Each "Up" in the war was rather like getting stuck with the "tar baby" -- the harder this country tried, the bigger the mess. Robert MacNamara wrote a book in which he conceded that his advise to Johnson, based upon intelligence, was just way off, and the war was a huge disservice to this country. Iraq was a huge mistake for Bush --- even his own advisors were against it, and his dad's advise was, as well, was not to get bogged down in a Middle Eastern war.... In essence the Middle East has been a mess for 8000 years, it is a mess now, and it will be for the long future. George, even though the UN found no weapons of mass destruction, asked for and got from congress the approval to invade. Many of those senators, Republican as well as Democrats, are now sorry, and have so stated, that they voted to invade.
It is their responsibility and their fault as much as it is his. And a few of them, Republican as well as Democrats, are now standing up on their hind legs and saying enough is enough. Those Republicans who have realized that there will be most likely a Democrat as President in two years will be attempting to sway those not in the war camp. Those who are still in the war camp will likely be swept out of office on the loosing shirt-tails of the Republicans.
It's a pattern.... Johnson was in the war mess, a Democrat, that the president that followed was Nixon, a Republican. The war was over within a short time of his election. The Democrat who will be elected in two years, will declare victory just as Nixon did, and this country will leave....

Yes, I know what it is. It incluedes realizing that we accomplished our original mission long ago, declaring victory, and making long term peace in Iraq an international concern (ie Multi national forces let by the UN not controlled by the US army.). There ya have it....Victory.....Saddam is no more.

It means one of two things. Either they are lying as usual or they consider cut and running a win. As long as the insurgents are coming into Iraq from other countries, they will never win. We are there to help train the Iraqis and to help keep the innocent Iraqis from being murdered by their fellow Muslims.
