1. What is the voltage through an iron if 15 A flows, and the resistance of the iron is 8.0 ?

2. Determine the voltage lost on a stove element with resistance 24 if it draws 7.5 A of current

3. a. Calculate the voltage lost on a 15 light bulb which draws 200 mA of current.

b. A small light bulb is connected to a 3.0 V battery. If 200 mA of current is measured to be flowing through the bulb, calculate the resistance of the light bulb.

4. A computer technician measures 24 mA flowing through a 28 resistor in a computer. Calculate the voltage loss in the resistor.

We need to employ the equation V = IR (voltage = current * resistance), and P = VI (power = voltage * current)

1) V = IR = 15 A * 8.0 ohm = 120 Volts

2) V = IR = 24 * 7.5 = 180 volts

3a) I'm assuming this is 15 watt light bulb, P = VI ,
so 15 Watts = (.2 A)^2 * V, .04 * V = 15, V = 375

3b) R = V/I = 3 / .2 = 15 ohms

4) V = IR = .024 * 28 = .672 volts

EDIT: For 3a, I'm now thinking that supposed to be a 15ohm light bulb, so V = IR = .2 * 15 = 3 volts

Your data is not logical but here is the formula u need.
E=IRE=voltage
I= current
R= the resistance
For power it is the voltage times the current = The watts.
