If you're among the vast majority of people who survive by selling thier labor, you need to improve and expand your skills - common enough advice - and, since price is important, like a corporation, you need to cut your costs (something you won't hear nearly as often).

If you live in America or other affluent countries, prepare to be taxed beyond your wildest dreams, because the focus of globalization would be to redistribute wealth to the less rich countries.
