Darwins theory of evolution has been
backed up by the entire fossil record
and by darwins own observations on the galapogas islands
not to say god doesnt exist
but the over simplified creationist stuff in the bible
was written at a time when people didnt understand this stuff
it was a metphor for the belief that god created all
(which i believe)
but should not be taken literally

don't call them bible bashers, that's a bit childish. the world might be a better place if more people had a faith!! however in answer to your question does the word 'theory' not explain your question. neither Darwins theory or the bible are factual in the sense that either have been proven. you believe in what you believe you in. it's not a case of which is right.

"bible bashers"?? Evolution in itself doesn't work out. If we came from monkeys we would continue to come from them. You don't have to see things to know it is real .take the air you breathe... you can't see it. But you can feel it. same with God You can't see him physically but you could feel him (physically and spiritually)
I'm a believer in God Jesus and the Holy Ghost. I'm a born again christian. And I say this because I have experienced it. God is real. If you don't believe it the Bible say taste and see that God is good. Try it . But when you do try it you would have to sincerely try .
We are living in the last days. That eastern sky could part at any moment. Do you want to spend eternity in hell?
honestly it doesn't matter if you believe it is real or not that doesn't change the fact that it is real. You not believing that hell is real isn't gonna keep you from joining satan.
God Bless

the bible has been around in one form or another for over 2000 years(thats the new testament, the old testament for over 5000), the theory of evolution only a little over a hundred. When someone raises the dead or heals the blind and deaf in the Name of Darwin I'll change my thinking . Until then...I'll stick with that which has stood the test of time thank you.

This isn't really a question for this section, which is for 'Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgendered' related questions.
Better in another section, such as religion, don't you think?
Darwin's theory was ahead of its time, and has since been further supported by genetic theories, evidence as well as wider evidence, too. It's a theory, not a fact, meaning to be the best known explanatory fit of evidence from the facts available. Seems pretty good and better than the (un)intelligent design twisted bits of statement, in my opinion. I'm not knocking any religion btw, just that stuff.
Good luck! And please think about where you're placing your questions please, as the categories are there for a purpose. Rob

Good luck trying to get a real answer. Evolution and religion have been battling it out for a long time. I don't think the debate is going to change anytime soon too. I have my faith in Darwins Theory.... but because its a theory i doubt that people will take it serious.

Many people have lived and had predictions about how we came to be some of them are on the street corner saying that the end of the world is near just cuz he had a theory and did his best to prove it doesn't mean he is right.
Besides just cant you cant see something doesn't mean it isn't real..... can you see or touch love or air etc.
Oh yeah and how is this a question about lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgendered?

First of all, I think you mean 'bible thumper'. Second, it's not just one or the other. I believe in God (I believe in lots of things I've never seen), but I'm not a bible thumper. I believe God is in everything we do and yes, that might make me naive, but oh well. That belief is what makes life bearable for me.
I'm perfectly fine with the fact that not everyone believes in God and I do not believe everything that was written in the bible. You'll never find me preaching to anyone about making it to heaven or being sent to hell. It's not my place to judge anyone. Just because their belief is different than mine doesn't mean it's wrong.
