I'm 40 and I still do it! :) Big NYC club DJ Junior Vasquez is somewhere in his mid 50's!
It's about mind over matter....if you don't mind, it doesn't matter!

I got two turntables and a microphone!!!!!
Dude, Im a digitial DJ/ premixing dj, and let me put it this way. I have made about 4500 bucks remixing songs, playing sets and licensing new music for websites and movies (within 1 year)and I have not marketed myself or really tried very hard to pursue it. I just love making music. I admit Im 25 but it doesnt matter. IF you love it and you get somewhat skilled, you can make a very nice chunk of change...
Its never 2 old to do anything. And if your friends rag on you? wait till the young ladies your dating come around, they will shut up VERY VERY quickly unless jealousy rears its ugly head...
buy your equipment, find a local club to spin at, and enjoy your life! Its so much fun doing a 4 hour set!!!

I would say when you are too old to move! My husband did it for a little bit when he was 18, but just seriously started to do it at the age of 46! If you're into the music, and enjoy it, go for it!
