I think it was a dispute over her contract. She wanted 10 million dollars to work for 1 year and ABC execs wanted her to stay for 3 years and she said no! Even though she's annoying, the show won't be the same without her outspokenness.

I think she is a loud mouth slob. I liked her years ago when she was funny. I lost respect for her when she argued on her show with a guest about gun control. It is suppose to be entertainment, not a political show.

i don't think anyone really knows what she was thinking in her head, my guess is she wanted the one year contract "just in case" the viewers started to turn off to her she could jump ship before being stuck there for 3 years like the network wanted.
