my sound card does not work in my computer can someone please tell me step by step instructions how to turn on the on board sound please thank

While it's helpful to know the computers model, you typically reboot the computer and during the post press Delete, usually, to enter setup, sometimes its F1, etc. Then in your BIOS, look for onboard features or integrated peripherals. There should be a setting for Onboard Sound Settings.

go to BIOS......normally you have to Press DEL whihc the system displays the first screen....change the setings there, save and exit....system automatically reboots

install the drivers, if that doesnt work make sure the connections are right
