I am a girl so I want to know if this would work for me and if there's anyone out there that will appreciate the costume.

Of course it could work. I run malcolmmcdowell.net and have a complete guide for costumes and pictures of devotchkas (girls) as droogs. The white vinyl dominatrix version came out amazing for example. There is even a living dead doll with an Alex costume that looks great. Plus there are versions of the ACO plays that feature women in the cast that work.

It's meant to be a violent, disturbing book. I read a couple of pages and saw that the entire book was going to be pretty much the same and so I stopped. Didn't find it necessary. I'd suggest reading a few pages and seeing if you want to continue.

Good question, that is an old movie it would be interesting to see if anyone gets it.

It could work - just make sure your eye make-up is waterproof otherwise you may end up looking like a distressed panda... not such a good costume!
