Oh the rhetoric is vile today. First, how about you address the "honor killings" we are trying to prevent through our efforts in women's right and advocacy in Iran. Then, why don't you address the exportation of the weapons needed for the Insurgents to conduct Iraqi on Iraqi violence which is killing more babies than we could possibly concieve. And, don't bemoan our current foreign policy. It was Carter and Clinton who failed to address the Islamo-Fascists when they were emerging. Now we have to deal with them and it isn't going to be pretty. Haven't you read the news about Somalia and Ethiopia? Don't you think Darfur is an extension of Islamo-Fascism?
Wake up and realize we are not the threat. We won't kill you but the Islamo-Fascist will use your liberal stance to conduct their murders and have no hesitation to kill an infidel regardless of whether they are liberal or conservative.

Let's face it-they dont care about the dead babies in Iraq any more than they care about the starving babies in Kentucky or the homeless children on Main St. The Senate and the House has voted to start withdrawing troops from Iraq and the president will veto. If the senate and the house dont have any power to stop the powers that be-what chance do the poor babies stand? I dont like being pessimistic, but at this point, I dont have much choice.

If you've never been to Iraq, or so much as sent a care package then you have no right to complain about them either. What about all the babies that have been saved? Don't you care about them? Soldiers don't kill babies. Actually just the opposite. I cant' even tell you how many times my husband and his troop have pooled together their personal savings to buy formula, diapers and baby food for just such babies. Or when they pooled their money to pay for a heart transplant for a mother in Iraq, who couldn't do it herself. Without surgery she would have died within weeks. What about her children?
I'm a liberal, and I see a problem with your logic.
Seems to me you ONLY care about the DEATH of babies.

It is a war. People die in war but at least they are dying for something (freedom) instead of dying for nothing like all the aborted babies in the US.
Besides it is not the US killing babies, it is the terrorists and they would keep killing babies even if the US left.

One of the numerous moral outrages of the illegal ,lie based crime against humanity called SHOCK AND AWE (AKA Iraqi War),is the monumental hypocricy and moral depravity of Christian Fundamentalists who while on one hand rail against abortion and the killing of the un-born to the point some even kill abortion doctors, but have no moral problem whatsoever with the killing slaughter of hundreds of thousands of innocent Iraqi man women and children .
In general ,Christian fundamentalists are in essence NOT moral people (as their history attests to) but moralizing, "holier-than-thou" anti-Christs and I make no apology for that accusation as the teachings of Christ support the assertion .
The Christian fundy's history from 1845 is one of monumental racism and support for slavery through to fighting a Civil War because they claimed Christ ordained and blessed slavery through to morally bankrupted Jim Crow laws which saw Blacks raped tortured ,lynched etc by these "good little Christians" to massive cross membership in the KKK to finally their death throws in the 1960s when they fought Federal forces in the latters way overdue enforcement of the BILL OF RIGHTS and the CONSTITUTION .
To Fundies the only mortal sins are all related to SEX in some way or other while they rarely rail against all the other horrid "sins" .

Yeah, lets blame conservatives because a bunch of muslims take their god forsaken "holy" book literally, and kill each other. The Shia and Sunnis have been killing each other long before Bush was president, and for centries before any of us were around. If Bush pulled out of Iraq on his own, and all this was going on the dems would say we should've stay to stablize Iraq. He knows no matter what he does he can't win with the dems, so he might as well do what he believes.

I guess the difference is that US troops try hard to limit collateral damage - probably more than is consistent with achieving our goals. American soldiers die in part precisely because we are so careful.
Abortions have as their purpose the termination of an unborn child.

if you heard that some baby in Iraq was killed by our troops on purpose or as a matter of policy, why cant you give the vaguest hint of where that information came from? any of you!
as long as you are making things up why not say that we are cannibalizing grandmothers?
what the **** are you talking about?
or are you actually arguing that because babies can die by accident, its okay to kill them on purpose?

Most of the innocent civilians and children being killed in Iraq, are killed by sunni or shiite terrorists, not our soldiers you fool. Those terrorists target civilians intentionally!
And IF some of our troops killed an innocent baby, it wouldn't be intentional. Just like friendly fire, do you honestly think our troops purposely target their own comrades? No, war is very confusing and it's easy to accidentally kill your own troops or civilians, even with todays technology. Collateral damage, or civilian casualties is very low in this war! Compare this wars civilian casualties with Vietnam or WWII!
