I have Vista and I have very little problems. All my programs work normally (except a couple, which are old and have better alternatives anyway), the typical PC user will not experience problems with Vista. Most issues are coming from large corporations which have a huge network and far more things to worry about than a home user. Most people on here will tell you to stick with XP and claim Vista is incompatible, but they likely don't have Vista and have never used it. I actually like all the new features.

Well Samuel gave a very good answer, and unfortunately some Vista hater gave him a thumbs down. Vista's problems are unbelievable exaggerated, mostly by people who have never even used it, and don't like Microsoft anyway. I have also seen a lot of people cite problems that were present in Beta versions, but have since been fixed in the fully released version. Like anything new, there are some small bugs, but nothing that would prevent the everyday user from using the computer fully.

Because you can't go to the store and not buy a computer without Vista! Try it!
Yes Vista is slower, try playing computer games on it.

Because they know people will buy it. What a better way to do it... Beta test... and charge to do it! ALWAYS Wait for SP1.
