5)also if a ceramic tiles are 203mm x 203mm how many tiles would it take to cover an area 1 meter x 2 meters?
203mm=0.203 m
you need to cover 2m^2 each tile is 0.203^2=0.041209m^2
2/0.041209=48.53, but that would involve a lot of cutting the tiles. in practice you would have 2/0.203~10 rows of 1/0.203~5 tiles or 50. You would have to trim 15 mm off the end tile in the rows of 5 & 30 mm of the end in the columns of 10.

6)if a single roll of wall paper will cover 3 square meters, how many single rolls will it take to cover a wall 2 meters by 5 meters? The wall is 2*5=10 m^2 each roll is 3 m^2, you will need 4 rolls & you'll have 2 m^2 left over.
