i have a large, from what i can tell its a century plant (looks like a giant cactus with sharp thorns.) Well this is strange..but two weeks ago i found 8 baby snakes dead on this cactus most were impailed on the spikes...today i found 4 more...this is a little eerie has anyone ever heard or seen anything like this??

ah, are they shrikes that impale bugs on thorns? Can't remember what kind of bird it is, but there's a bird that will take insects and stuff that it finds but doesn't want to eat yet, and stick them on thorns and even barbed wire. That would be my guess as to what's going on... some bird wants to eat some snakes, just not right now. Watch and see what happens.

Shrikes store their killed food on thorns, sort of as a larder. If that be the case your lucky because they are getting rarer and rarer. They're quite pretty in a rather tailored way, with soft gray, black, and white plumage. They sport a dashing black mask, and white wing patches when they fly which often makes the casual observer mistake them for mockingbirds.
