I'm changing jobs and will be making $6 less per hour. I want to modify my child support but do not want to get lawyers involved. What is the process?

I don't mind going to court. I just need to know the process. I would like to do it myself.

I doubt you will get your ex to agree to a lesser amount for child support voluntarily, but you could always ask. The only way I know of to get your child support lowered is going to court. Sorry... good luck.
