Stupid question.... take the average of the answers..85% world says Sri Lanka... why they are not blind.. they all have seen the matches that sri lanka played....
I Agree...Australian team is the best.. but common be realistic here. Look the way sri lankans playing booming with team spirit...winning hungry... no doubt Sri Lanka winning this game... there will be a great fight...
As a Sri Lankan 1st class cricket player I know how we play our cricket.. I know few players in SL national team, we have played together... so Aussies...if you guys have any hope that aussies going to bring the cup it huge Island. it is wrong... it is going small Island... Sri Lankan airlines will land in Bandaranayke International Airport with the WC 2007..

I am supporting Sri Lanka because I am an Asian and love to see an Asian team winning the trophy. Secondly Sri Lankans are playing some good cricket and deserve to win. Sri Lankan win will help a lot to promote the game of cricket in Asia and if Australians win then it will serve nothing to the game of cricket as I believe it will only make them more arrogant and proudy. Sri Lankans did not claim to win the cup and when they came to play no one has considered them worth to play even the semi final but their consistent performance and team work made it possible. I think Pakistan and India should take a leaf out of Sri Lankan book of cricket and should learn to play like a team and win matches.

I would Support SL.. Reasons....
1. Playing as a team
2. They do fight. and figh fairly.
3. They are not overconfidence and do not play word-games through Press as Australian Cricket team does.
you will hear something from Ponting or any Austrlian player before final too.
4.have good players and they are performing well and desrve to win.

Since am a cricket fan as a girl i'll support sri lanka but trust me i'll give austrailia support as well or i should say i'll be supporting austrailia because i believe austrailia is going to win since it is only that team that is really, really playing the game as if they want to win

Sri Lanka for several reasons. (1) Tradition, I will always cheer against the Aussies, my father cheers against the Aussies, my mother, my uncles and aunts cheer against the Aussies and my children will cheer against the Aussies. (2) I'm a jealous "Windian" and don't like to see any other team enjoy the dominance we once enjoyed. (3) The Lankans are a great team. They are vibrant, fun, talented and humble in victory.

I would support Aussies! New Zealand is my all time favourite team. The Lankans eliminated them in the Semi-finals. So, Srilanka should not win the Cup. So, Go Aussies Go!! Get ready to win!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Becuase i love that team, they put a great effort in this tournament and worked realy hard to get to the final.....! they got to this level slow and steady and i think they deserve it more !and yes they are asian ! ( this is not racism though)
And Also Australian have won it thrice and i think its not necessary that they should get it in all WCs !
and most imprtantly i m realy jealous of Australian perfection lol.............Okay i do admire it ! no doubt australians make a great team ! And i wish my team could play like them(no chance btw)
