They keep canceling shows after 4 episodes. "Drive" wasn't the best show, but it was better than watching "How I met your Mother" on Monday nights. Fox TV has no other shows left for me. I don't even find Family Guy that funny anymore.

I'm actually really amazed nowdays at how quickly they cancel shows. Giving a show two episodes.. in all reality, is not going to give a real telltale of how it's going to end up working out. A new show needs time to get viewers interested, etc.. They drop them right away without giving them a chance nowdays.. It's ridiculous.

I understand the need for ratings, etc.. but they need to take at least a certain amount of time to give a show a chance.

I have read many times that Cheers did bad in the ratings in the early 80's and then, after having given it chances, it proved to me a huge money-maker for NBC!

But.. I guess it's up to them.. Thing is... For the amount of things they do right.. and the amount of profit they do make.. I think that they also do a lot wrong.. and could really do a lot better if they gave things a chance..

I mean.. if a restaurant started a new dish on the menu.. and only a couple of people ate it in the first couple days, should they take it off the menu, or give it a chance.. and discover that with some word of mouth, etc.. they have the next super food on their hands?

Fox isn't the only one that does this either.. I've seen other networks being just as crazy.

Not only does FOX cancel great shows (Arrested Development and Futurama), my local FOX affiliate SUCKS! For 2 weeks in a row, the channel just totally went out of service during American Idol and it always looks crappy, period. It's really low budget.

That is crazy. I can't believe they cancelled that already. I was pissed because there were shows in the fall that started that just disappeared from FOX, Vanished, Standoff and the one about the defense attorneys, I can't think of the name. They change the times on the shows, then cancel them. That really is annoying.

Gosh, you're right. FOX does SUCK. I had forgotten about all the cool shows I was getting in to last season and they dumped. I think the program director must have serious ADD.

The Fox Network doesn't suck!
American Idol is one of the most watched shows in the US.
The Simpsons and The Family Guy are two of the funniest shows around!

As long as they don't cancel "House" I'll be okay.

I'm still in shock that "Everwood" got cancelled, wherever they were. I've been waiting for new episodes and wondered why there hadn't been any yet. I missed the announcement.
