How do you stop from hating? I know it's wrong, and I want to stop hating ppl, but how DOES someone stop? It is wrong to hate though. Right?

I used to be like that..so I started out by..instead of saying negative things..I focused on positive things about someone or something.

It takes great discipline over your emotions and thick skin to ignore what people say, and to try and no take things personally. It is not easy by any means, that is very obvious. It's okay to hate, but learn to control the anger and anything that would result from hatred. I hate child molesters, but I'm not seeking them out to beat them either. I hate when people get abused and tortured, but I can't be everyone's super-hero and swoop in and rescue them before anything happens. I try, and whatever can be done in the name of the prevention of preventing or stopping the spread of hate, is worth the effort. Very good question. I hope that you are able to find the strength to carry on and be a wonderful human being.

It is indeed wrong to hate, but it is also impossible to completely stop yourself from hating - just like any other feeling, feeling hatred is part of being human.
One way you can limit hate is by trying to look for the positive qualities of something you hate, though.

Hate will kill you, it is a very caustic emotion and causes tremendous stress on your body.
Learn to accept and love yourself, faults and all. Anyone who truly loves and accepts themselves for who they are won't hate someone else.
