McCain served in Vietnam. McCain was also a POW for many years. McCain didn't make fun of the troops. Did you even watch the interview??? He made a joke about putting an IED under John Stewart's desk. Letterman, Leno, Stewart, etc. make jokes every night. Some of them are about IEDs or other topics that don't involve fluffy bunny rabbits. Grow up and get a life.

What he said was that he'd brought Stewart a little gift, and IED for his desk. It was that coward John Murtha who's making a big deal of the whole thing. Look, everything a Republican says is going to draw these stupid comments from the Defeatocrats because that's what they do. They have no ideas, no solutions and no answers, all they have is their stupid little made-up complaints. McCain just met with all the military leaders in Iraq. That's what he was doing there, meeting with the military leaders. I guess that little fact escaped your eagle-eyed notice huh lib? Get over it.

I'm not a republican, and not a conservative, but I fail to see why everyone is picking on John McCain (both sides).
I also thought the Bomb, Bomb,Bomb, Bomb Bomb Iran thing was pretty funny, but unlike some folks, I have a sense of humor.

I recall he said that it is safer in Iraq than it used to be. I don't remember him making fun of our troops.
