LOL.....you are confused and should really look at what is in the bill instead of relying on other uninformed Repubs. The bill give Bush all the money he asked for PLUS an additional $9 billion dollars. It asks for a start to troop redeployment by Oct 1 2007 and gives a GUIDELINE for a complete pull out by April 2008. The guideline is non-binding. Bush himself has said that the 'surge' needs more time and the bill gives him exactly what he's asked for.....up to 1 year and since it is a non-binding guideline that can be extended if progress is shown to be happening. As far as the claim of 'pork', first of all this is an 'Emergency Spending Bill' not just a war funding bill. The aid for katrina, for farms in disaster areas, etc. is covered under that emergency spending. Secondly, since when is ANY bill passed, by Dems or Repubs, that does not contain 'add ons'? Almost never.

No. Surrender means put down your weapons and give yourself to the enemy as a prisoner of war. Withdraw means leave the area with your weapons. You could have just looked this stuff up in a dictionary.

If it is a Civil War, how, if you are not part of that country, is that surrender?
Rice went to Iran per bush to talk about ways to get out of the war. In your eyes why isn't that CONSIDERED SURRENDING?

No. We voted to get Americans out of a country and a war that they have no business being involved with.

Yup... what a crock that bill is....
Full of pork, too... They even threw in an increase to the minimum wage clause. See, now they can scream "Bush hates the poor, see he voted our attempt to raise their wages"...
That bill is garbage.
