I'm married with a 12 month old and I just recently found out that i'm pregnant. I told my husband last night he was calmly happy. But over the last year our money situation has been not so good, and he's been pretty un helpful as a dad, with work and school. I have been feeling like telling the people around me that I'm pregnant. They are really negative about future pregnancies I might have because of relationship and money problems. I under stand but what's done is done. how can I put it across to those that are not going to want to hear it? Does waiting a couple of months make a diff?

Thanks.

If you're happy and your husband's happy that's all that matters. If there are money problems, work on a budget. Don't buy if you can't pay cash. I learned that the hard way. Be sure to let your husband know how much you need him to help you out now and then. He may just need to be asked. And if you want to tell anyone else do it. If they can't be happy for you, then to H*** with them.

I've never share the news with family, friends, or work before 12 weeks. The easy way to deal with it is...if they don't ask, don't tell...especially if you think they might be negative about it.
