You could get a seal pack part no. 451.76 from Mira for a few pounds and replace the cartridge O rings. See page 43. Or you may need a new cartridge as the ceramic plates are worn pp 40.

HAD THE SAME PROBLEM with my mira excel
I got another one for £80 , forget buying parts
As i got the same new shower(MIRA EXCEL) I even replaced it myself as it was like for like.
instructions with shower to help but it was easy even for a novice like me who had never done it before.
no tricky pipe work to move or anything else if its like for like,just goes straight on and follow exact wiring
DONT CALL A ROB DOG OF A PLUMBER, IN FACT MOST JOBS NOT JUST PLUMBING AROUND THE HOUSE ARE PRETTY STRAIGHTFORWARD.
diy forget any suggestions of call the so called experts!
mines been ok for years

there is a pressure release valve on these showers ..and sometimes they blow ..then the shower drips constantly ..you can get a replacement one from most plumbers merchants ..it s fitted at the bottom of the shower ,,and its not too difficult ..dont forget to turn off the water
