Almost all of the lumber for sale is not pressure treated. Adding an anti-rotting ingredient under pressure is a costly extra step that most people do not need.

Any lumber yard or big box hardware place sells untreated wood.

However if you use it outdoors the fungi and termites will destroy it very quickly.

Hi!!

Any kind of lumber is available non-pressure treated. You can get it at any lumber company. Go to Home Depot, or Lowes, etc. (whatever is in your area) and ask them for it.

treated lumber is often greenish colored, wet feeling, and a GOOD DEAL more expensive than standard kiln dried lumber.

You have to go out of your way to locate the treated lumber amongst the standard woods.
