In my LOWER LOWER abdoman, almost to the side of my pubic area, there is a 'pinpoint' pain that feels like a needle is being stuck in and out of my belly. The pain is in the EXACT same spot everytime it occurs which happens to be several times throughout the day. The pain has not even moved 1/18 of an inch. It's always in the same spot. It's VERY painful and almost takes my breath away. I called my doc and he is out of town until monday =/ Has anyone experienced this and knows what it is?

Round ligament pain generally refers to a brief, sharp, stabbing pain or a longer-lasting dull ache that pregnant women commonly feel in the lower abdomen or groin, starting in the second trimester. I found this for you, hope it helps.
If you are worried or feel something is wrong I would go to the ER.

It could just be your body expanding as the baby grows. I had a lot of weird pains like that. However, don't wait until Monday if you are concerned. Go to a walk-in clinic or to an associate of your doctor. It could be a kidney stone. I had one and it was some of the worst, sharpest pain I have ever had. Go to see about it.

If it gets worse tonight I'd head to the ER just to be on the safe side. It's probably nothing, just your body adjusting. Maybe the baby is on a nerve.

If yo can not talk to anyone at your docs office try calling your local maternity ward at the hospital. If you are that worried - go to the er for your answer.
