I have been sick on an off for the past month with a reoccuring sinus infection. I missed a half day due to it four weeks ago, but toughed it out this time. My boss asked me if I was feeling better and I replied honestly: "Yes but still congested but much improvment". He replied grouchily "You know you don't have to always be sick." There have been some other stresses in the office that haven't been to do with me, so I am thinking its that and not to do with me. Should I take this as a negative?

I'd sit down with your boss and explain that you know your illness has inconvenienced the company, and that you are doing your best to recover and work to your full potential. I think your boss was just having a bad day, but it can't hurt to reiterate your apologies. This shows that you do care about your job and the company. Also, A LOT of people have been sick this winter season, it's understandable that you've been ill on and off.

Well, it is negative. Bosses shouldn't take out the stresses in the office out on their employees. I've had a tough time with my boss over sicknesses, and the best thing I ever did was to sit down and talk with her about it. I told her I honestly felt that she was projecting negativity on me, and I wanted to work towards a resolution for the sake of our partnership. We're doing great now.

particular, it sounds unreasonable. yet each little thing you instructed us is merely your attitude. have you ever even theory about what human beings see? develop into turnout fairly unfavourable at this celebration? develop into your boss merely dissatisfied at everyone for not showing up? develop into she damage for this different woman who retired? perchance she's been there for years, and all the human beings who knew her nicely have already left so no man or woman confirmed up. perchance she develop right into a really effective woman who merely did not have any acquaintances there anymore. If it really is real, and your boss develop into merely attempting to make her very last day there a effective day, you probable sabotaged that. Hmm...perchance that is not all about you and your hair and your introversion and stuff. Or, perchance, as one in each of the different writers stated, your boss develop into attempting to get to examine with you outdoors of the place of work. perchance she thinks you've a destiny to bypass up contained in the employer, yet she's attempting to pull you out of your shell. Or, perchance she merely thinks that human beings contained in the place of work are too unsociable with one yet another and she develop into attempting to apply this as an probability to convey you mutually extra. or perchance she wasn't a lot mad that you probably did not come, yet merely that you probably did not make it sparkling that you weren't coming. Did they perchance wait a nil.5 hour to decrease the cake and then ultimately provide up even as they discovered you weren't gonna instruct? i do not comprehend. regardless of her causes, you're searching at it from a really narrow view. in case you frame of mind existence as besides the indisputable fact that you comprehend all the info, you'll bypass over out on lots. Your boss might want to easily be loopy, yet extra in all probability there are things you do not realize. better than in all probability, she'll get over it quickly. yet you'll under no circumstances comprehend what you neglected, because there might want to were something else in keep for you, and it would want to under no circumstances materialize. Your causes might want to be solid, yet who's time-honored with no matter in case your boss might want to have had extra efficient causes.
