Getting to some spark plugs takes a swivel attachment between the socket & extention connected to the ratchet,also check if you have the correct socket for the plug size,it should also be a deep spark plug socket.

You need to be more specific!
If you are trying to get to the rear plugs on a front wheel drive vehicle, you may need to remove the torque strut and rock the engine fore ward to gain access.
