Are you kidding me!? Life is fanTASTic! The world is an amazing, truly ridiculously awesome place. If you give me a moment of my time, I might convince you, I might plant seeds of doubt in your brain. Or you might think I'm a naiive little kid. Your choice. I understand the fun of that all-hells-broken-loose-and-the-world's-g... stance, but I mean, it does get tiring after a while, doesn't it? Full of bad people? Bad situations? Come on Holden Caulfield, cut me some slack. While good/bad right/wrong are actually subjective, I'll shelve that argument because I do know well enough what you are talking about. The world is epic. Haven't you ever had a moment? Life is about moments. A moment when you execute a joke to the utmost perfection, when you're completely lost in a wonderful place. To me, the world is fricking awesome because of mystery. I could laze around, and b*tch about how all mystery has been solved, and the internet and blah blah ruins it, but it's a lie. I don't mean boring crap, either. The little things, it's all in the details... only yesterday, I discovered that one novelist had recieved a package, a metal trunk full of strange odds and ends, and at the bottom were manuscripts written in first person, of the account of a girl who had met a "real life Sherlock Holmes". Whether or not you'd believe that Holmes ever was real, or even that this woman was actually 94 years old and sent all this stuff and a story off to this novelist, the FACT, the mere FACT that SOMEONE in the world put the thought into creating a perfect MYSTERY, is why I am still alive. We try to capture moments through photographs, or telling stories, but they can never be relived. But it's alright. Because we spend out lives from moment to moment, living in mundane-ness until the world proves itself once again by plopping us down in a near-magical situation. Some people would reference sunsets and things like the Grand Canyon as proof of the wonderfulness of the universe, but I believe in people. Yes, scoff and laugh all you'd like, I know, I know, people are what you have the LEAST faith in. Peopel!? For heaven sakes, they're what's RUINING all this! But no. Yes, of course there are evil sons of b*tches out there, but that's not the point. There are mysterious people, wonderful people, I don't mean the altruistic type. I mean the characters. The strange ones, the ones who invent stories, and then ones that MAKE good stories. People make moments. People are fantastic. And because, to me, in my singular world-view, people ARE the world, that collective consciousness we know and have a hate-love relationship with society, the world is fantastic. But that's just my opinion.

You would be looking at a girl that is absolutely precious to me. Her name is Alexa and everything about her is beautiful. From her eyes to her thighs, nose to her toes, this girl is beautiful and I love her. (we've been together for 2.5 years =] )

do you know those framed black and white photos of the trees with no leaves . They are often shrouded in fog. That is beauty to me. So silent and still. It remindes one of how fragile and temporary we are.
