Graduate high school, get your bachelors degree (pre-med or something that fulfills the requirement of pre-med), take you MCATs, apply to (and get accepted) medical school, complete four years of medical school and around the beginning of your fourth year of medical school, start applying to residency programs. For a few months your fourth year of med school, you'll be taking a lot of time to jet all over the country for residency interviews (and you'll want to interview at several, so you're not left high and dry without a program match on Match Day). Pediatrics is a 3 year residency and after that you may wish to pursue a fellowship in a subspecialty.

You go to a university that haspre med courses and then you apply to medical school. After 4 years of med school and internship you specialize in pediatrics, at least that is what I believe you do.

you go to college for 4 years in pre-med, then more college to become a doctor, them more college to specialize in pediatrics. it takes 10-12 years of schooling after high school.
