If you rip each song with media player as .mp3 at 128 kb bitrate then each song will be approx. 4mb each so total of 44mb for the album.

Bytes are smallest then kilobytes, megabytes then gigabytes
1,024 Byte = 1 Kilobyte (KB)
1,024 Kilobyte (KB) = 1 Megabyte (MB)
1,073,741,824 Bytes = 1 Gigabyte (GB)
1 Gigabyte (GB) = 1,024 Megabyte (MB)

First, look at the amount of space you have left in your computer. If you have windows 8,1, type free space on PC in the search window. Select the choice Free Up Space On PC. The next screen will show you the detailed list of how much free storage space you currently have available and current storage usage is broken down for photos, documents and music. A song may use 3-5 MB of space, this varies. There are 1000 MB in a Gigabyte.

Megabyte is about a million bytes. Gigabyte is about a billion bytes. Both are more-or-less but don't sweat those details.

A song for a CD is usually about a megabyte (MB) per minute. If the album is about an hour then it is 60MB long.
