Yes, you are. If you are engaging in sexual activities, then you are sexually active.

Your answer would be no. And, the first thing he/she will probably ask you is when was your last period, how many days was the flow.
Your doctor should be more than your best friend. You need to feel comfortable discussing any matters with him/her. Communication with your doctor is considered privileged information and will not be divulged to anyone except those within the doctor's office or lab. If you experience feelings of embarrassment during your doctor's visit, then perhaps you should put off any intimacies with your boyfriend until you have matured enough not to have those feelings.
Please be careful experimenting with sex. Whether getting intimate with your boyfriend, fiance or hubby--always use some kind of protection, i.e., condoms, birth control, celibacy--just say no.
I got married right out of high school for the just that reason. I wanted to know how it felt and what everyone was talking about. It only takes once--pregnant on my honeymoon and divorced as soon as the baby was born. But, that is another whole ballgame.

Your Gyn asks this because it helps him know what he should or should not worry about looking for in your pap smear. It used to be recommended that any woman engaging in sexual activity (having sex at all) should have a pap smear done every year. Now, the recommendation has change to say that women engaged in sexual activity with only one long term partner, who also has only a single partner needs only to have one every three years. A woman who is sexually active with multiple partners who also have multiple partners should still have a pap smear every year, as the risk of infections and disease go up.
In your case, you haven't been having continual sex with your boyfriend, in fact hardly anything at all. You still need a pap smear, but you should tell your doctor your circumstance. Tell him it only happened once.

Just tell your gynocologist the truth! If you are getting that close to actually doing it, you should say "yes" rather than no, because you want to discuss birth control and safe sex.
Your doctor just wants to know so that he can help you with that stuff. If you're not sexually active at all, then he/she will just skip that part, because they are busy. That's all.

Just tell her you are not currently sexually active. The details are really none of her business, and saying it this way will let her know that you have not had sex in like the last week, and STD's are probably not a concern. I think semen in the vagina can slightly affect test results, and pregnancy issues is why she even asks.
Tell her you're practly a virgin...maybe she'll go easy on ya.

Yes...tell them the truth...you really don't need a pap test unless you are sexually active.

I went to the gynecologist recently and if you explain yourself as you did here they will decide themselves. Just be completely honest that's all you have to do. It's no biggie. Just try to relax that helps and don't be embarrassed about anything trust me they've seen all and heard all.

Yes,You can't know if your boyfriend has a Sexually transmitted disease. The Gynecologist has to report those to the health department, that's why he's asking. You could be infected and not know it.(Aids,Herpes,Gonorrhea,Syphilis,Genital warts,Papiloma virus, and many more). Will either kill you or scar you for life.

and he /she will be able to tell you best because they will be the one examining you...

Yes, there's been sexual contact, go ahead and just be detailed when you talk to him/her. You can tell your GYN anything, nothing will be new to them or surprise or shock them.
