well a lot of companies have to follow the EOE, and they will not discriminate against you because your pregnant, However your 5 months pregnant. Do you think that walgreens is a good idea being that you might have to be on your feet all day? just concerned about the baby, I mean even if you don't get the job there, depending on how old you are, maybe you could look into a company that will give a pregnancy leave, so that you can return to work, after the baby is born..Anyway good luck with the interview, and Congrats on your pragnancy

It's pretty hard ,getting a job a little pregnant ( or should I say more then halfway there pregnant. ) I agree with you that , it might be a disadvantage for you . Cause that means that you will be quitting in a month or two . Why don't you try for something seasonal that way they won't have all these expectations from you and you can always meet a lot of people ( like tourist ) enjoying the season.

Just let them know and dont worry about it. The only difference is you probably wont be able to lift boxes if you are stocking shelves. People usually work there part time anyhow so they will expect you to take sometime off when the baby is due.

I don't think I would mention the pregnancy unless the question was asked. It's discriminatory to overlook an employee just because she is pregnant.

I wish you lots of luck on getting the job..

They are not supposed to discriminate against pregnant women, but they might not hire you due to "availability" issues anyway.

the different candidate that they had in options in all likelihood did not settle for the interest so they are calling you again to inform you that you may have the placement, or they could have yet another starting up that they imagine you're qualified for.

I advise you tell them upfront - otherwise it sets up false pretenses and could get you not hired.

I don't think they can legally use that as a reason not to hire you.
