I was VERY over-protected,so by the time I was sneaking out I was fourteen,every time I did sneak out I was very disappointed,because everything mom said was true,about the weirdos out there,how it was dangerous etc.....we live in a relatively"safe"place and a whole lot safer back then,anyway somehow,my wild best friend just had to go over to Mark M,'s house that lived about a mile from me on the east side of town.The guy was a NUT job,he had all sorts of guns,and he was shooting them when we arrived,it was a really dark road down to his house,and I kept thinking(this is not my idea of fun people,I want to go home!!) you know there is truly "no place like home!!)

Not at my house but, a friend and I did sneak out of her house when I spent the night. We stole her moms car, got some beer, got into a minor accident, then crawled back in the window and into bed as if we had been there all night. 6am, the cops were knocking on the door about a hit and run. Needless to say, I never snuck out again!

We always did and were caught a couple of times. I have a pic of my best friend crawling through the window with the night sky in the background as we were coming back from our sneak out. That's one of my favorite pics that I have.

My mother rigged the house making sure that all the windows and doors make a ton of noise if they were opened. And to ensure that we didn't open the window during the day and just try to sneak out and in she put loud grinding rocks outside the window ~ so even if we made it out there was no way to walk past their window without waking them up.
And to top it off my mother talked to my best friends mom and a week later my friend had a big rose bush outside of her window.

All the time. I have been caught a few times in my day. It was bad to come home at 16 drunk as all hell and have my mom pull a cosby show moment and turn the sofa to face the door so she would be the first thing I saw LOL. Not good. Good luck to you teens LOL.

I never did-- but I caught my little sister sneaking back in along with my parents.
She forgot about the house alarm and when she snuck back in, she set it off. It woke us all up at 2am.
She'll never live that one down.

Uh, yeah. Yes, I got caught too. My Mom ended planting some kind of plant in front of my window that had thorny points on it. I'd just through a blanket over it & be on my way.

nope never. My door made to much noise and there were locks on my window that you needed a screw driver to unlock. To much hassle. So i would just do out before dark and not come home till i felt like it. As long as I was out i was out.
