"The challenge before us, then, is whether we respond to al-Qaeda's barbarism by running away, as it hopes we do -- abandoning the future of Iraq, the Middle East and ultimately our own security to the very people responsible for last week's atrocities -- or whether we stand and fight.

To me, there is only one choice that protects America's security -- and that is to stand, and fight, and win."

-Senator Joe Lieberman (Independant Democrat)

Senetor Its strange that most of the people of the U.S. is against this war, because it was obtained with underhanded tricks and agendas that were not ours at all but of a cabinet that has their own ideas of our future. They have a elitist thinking or above the law additude.
If the American people thought for one second that this war would end all adrocities then i think they would buy on to it but the sneaky ways of the administration has changed all of that. There was never yellow cake and there never was W.P.M.s there never was any thing except a crazy leader that liked to rule his country with a iron hand. Is that enough to have over 3000 Marines die for???
You are a sell out LIberman and you have bought into the lie also that Bush and his gang of thives have presented, in the best P.R. exibet i have ever witnessed.
What really bugs me is what are you getting out of it?? Are you such a people pleaser that you have alowed Bush to intimate you into your sensless decisions?? Are you one that bought into the your either with me or against me?? . That is Joe Mcarthy rap you remember him .right. He was the moron that destroyed , for a while, free thinking. Tow thie party line he was no better then the commies he was fighiting against.
If this war had been of doing every thing first to get the Iraq administration to square up haveing ideas to slow them. But that went out the window when the bulidings came down and it was a perfect cahnce for Bush to seek his revenage. You and I both know this to be true. WE ARE NOT STUPID.
Well I dont know every thing as you do im sure, but i do know this if I am thinking along certain lines and i run it past 3 people and i get back dont do it then i dont do it. And when I have I find they were right.
Liberman you have 3/4 of the American people saying we want it done with now . We are not turning tail but this is STUPID to stay.
We will not back a CROOK and Bush is a rotten man no integerity and a very underhanded cabinet.
Your title What happened be united in surrender. Joe get a grip this is like a divorce it is never pleasent. you need to accept that this war is done and we will prevail. You guys better think hard about getting us into another one also because if it is not the right thing to do then you will get mucho flack over it.
You guys talk about Liberils as being turn coat. Im sorry but that is not the case at all we want a soulitinn to this we want the killers done in we want security we want all of that but the way Bush has dropped the ball and has done nothing about it we all see what the real thing is. Hunting down a buch of killers is a big job but we can do it but Bush has not done a thing about it. Get real Joe ive been a supervisor for years and i look to actions not lip service. And that is all you and your buddies have been giving us.

Senator Lieberman is an Independent, not a Democrat, they gave him the boot. I would be impressed if he were that committed to America and Americans instead of fighting this propaganda war.

I am sadden to see the responses you are getting.

To run away is going to be the biggest mistake we can do.

If the democrats have their way and we do pull out.

And al-Qaeda makes another terrorist attack on the US are the same people going to say oops we are sorry.
I doubt.

Time to face the fact about Muslim terrorism it isn't all about bin laden.

This movement to wipe us out has many names and operating in many countries.

When democrats turn on Lieberaman and he won as an independent.

That should have said something.

As well as 911.

As well as the USS Cole

I don't understand why the liberals haven't gotten the point yet.

How many more have got to die before they catch on this is a war.

They don't want to live in peace.

I fail to see how a person can be an Independent and a Democrat.Maybe Lieberman needs to reassess his party affiliations.

I just love it every time some chickenhawk talks about the concept of surrender.

No one here is remotely supporting a surrender.

In fact, once Bush and Cheney and the rest of the reactionary morons are ousted from the White House, we can get down to a more serious and intelligent method for hunting down the leadership of alQaeda's leadership.

Remember, Bush has dropped that ball one too many times. Here's the helpful hint of the day: Bin Laden isn't in Iraq, stupid!

What's an independent Democrat?...he is an independent, not a Democrat, and he is entitled to his opinion, as are Chuck Hagel and the other Republicans that want to end the war.

Joe Lieberman, a Democrat? He's about as much a Democratic as my cat is. If you want to sling mud, you need to find a better example, this one fails miserably. Joe Lieberman doesn't even know himself whose side he's on.

When Bush Sr. left Iraq, was that wrong, or was Bush Sr. a clear thinking realist?

Babes, you gave the best answer already. Why ask Democrats a question they can't answer truthfully? If I had 11 points to give, for this question, you would get them. Bless.
