You shouldn't give your 5 week old Tylenol. If he is running a fever, you should call your doctor becuase something serious may be wrong. My son was 12 weeks & running a fever when I called the doctor. I ended up having to take him to the hospital. They kept him because he had viral Meniningitis.

If you think his throat is hurting and he's more fussy than normal, bring him in for a check up anyway. Does he have a feaver? Don't give a child that young medicine unless directed to do so by your doctor.

I do not believe that you can give a baby that young anything hardly. I have always been told not until they are 2 months. Call the nurse at your doctors office.

Before you give your 5 weeks ANY kind of medicine, check with a doctor.

At his age, he NEEDS to be seen BEFORE you give ANYTHING to him!!! Babies under six months can get REALLY sick.

Call your doctor's office and find out who is covering for him. There should be someone covering his paitents. It's not necessary to go to the hospital, but another pediatrician should see him today!

I would only take advice on this from a doctor. Overdosing on tylenol can cause serious liver problems.

The Dr's nurse should be able to tell you how much to give the baby.

Just call your doctors office and they will what the accurate dosage is.
