That really tugs at my heart...I feel so bad for you and your baby......Most times(I'm sure you've heard)The skin will react to contact items,or ingested toxins......What might not be toxic to one persons skin, could be to anothers....I would look at detergents, fabrics, bedding materials(some kinds of wood and wood stains can be irritants),carpet fibers(do you have long carpet)?shampoo's soap's,stuffed animals,,most are from over seas and who knows what they put in the stuffing.....also there could be a sensitivity to light...look to see if the hives are limited to one area or another....if it has to do with foods or drinks,,that is a long drawn out process,,,you will have to take away one item at a time and wait about two weeks to see if it is the one...that's not easy, but it is necessary....My heart go's out to you and your baby...I hope you find the problem soon.

When my 2 year old suddenly got hives it actually turned out being strep - as in strep throat. The clinic can actually (no doc involved) just do a quick strep test/throat culture. Strep wont go away on its own, which makes me wonder about this sticking around for a month.

Have you seen an allergist? Creams like cetaphil, aquaphor, and and Eucerin may help. Consult your doctor first. Also, try changing detergents-one with no perfumes or dyes (there are many new ones on the marker).

If your doctors are not recommending medicine, she's probably too little to take any remedies. Avino oatmeal bath treatments were very soothing for my children. Please check anything you use to make sure it's OK for babies.
