It's normal. They don't have bowel movements everyday. It could be every other or even every few days. My doctor told me it was completely normal and nothing to worry about! Good Luck!

Either. If she's acting like she's in pain and straining to go and can't or just passes little pebbles, that's constipation. Try taking her temperature rectally - this should stimulate her to go.

If she's not uncomfortable and is happy and playing, it could be normal. Babies' bowel habits change several times before they're a year old. Hers might be changing, and probably will at least one more time.

Is she breast fed? A nurse at the health department informed me that breast milk is so well obsorbed by the body that is isn't unusual for the baby to go a day without a bowel movement.

i have a son who is almost 3 months old and i have had that problem with him more than once. i've asked the doctor about it and he said as long as he's not crying from discomfort that everything should be fine and will go soon. and everytime he has. i say dont worry about it unless ur child is crying alot and than maybe call the doctor but it's normal i believe.

don't be alarmed, my son had the same problem when he was a baby. give him about 1oz-2oz warm water and then give him a little belly massage with some baby lotion. if he doesn't have a bowel move ment by this afternoon give him an ounce of baby prune juice, if nothing happens call his pediatritions office, just to be on the safe side. good luck!

Its normal. As my child birth instructor told us "sometimes they save up their poop for days and days. dont worry. its normal, as long as they arent TRYING to poop without success"

If you are breastfeeding, it may be because your milk is being used by your baby's body so well that she does not need to poop every day.
