Fast food restaurants are horrible places to work. It amazes me every time I eat at one that they actually found people to work there. Go with the movie theater. No grease no lunch and dinner rushes, and you get the cool benefit if watching movies for free and before everyone else.

Both fast food restaurants and Movie theater are horrible places to work. But between those two places, chose the "Movie theater," many higher class (or better cultured, people on their way up) people or students will be your co-workers, the envirnomnet is less stressful and you just might find a friend for life, a better job connection or room mate. Maybe even some uneaten pop corn if you have no money.
:-)
Personally, I would go to school and get a trade doing something that I really enjoy. The second best choice is to at least get a Government job, that will provide health care, vacation time, sick time off, some insurance coverage and some retirement benefits;
Even a janitor working for the USA Federal, State or City (local County) agent in any service, get these benefits. And if you are there for minimum wages (doing anything, you'll get
these benefits plus working inside an air conditioned bldg.
Can you do thePost Office test? Good luck!

They both have certain aspects that are fairly hard in their own right. In the fast food industry You always have to worry about being clean, making the food properly, speed, and making the customer happy. As for movie theaters You have to worry about getting fired for burning the popcorn, cleaning theaters in five minutes, Keeping the entire theater clean, throwing out the trash every half-hour, and then you have to worry about whether or not the movie is going to play properly. Personally I'd say that a Movie Theater is a harder place to work at, because it does carry more responsibilities. They even have to make food at movie theaters, and they have to make it fast, so the customer can get to the movie on time. Movie Theater all the way!

Working with fast food or a restaurant. Customers are much more rude and demanding. At a movie theater, you might hear customers complaining about the price of tickets or food, but other than that, they're pretty easy-going once they get in their seats.

I'd go fast food. If you get caught screwing around with food, you can go to jail.
Movie Theater you get the next number of vomiting to pick up.

I'd say fast food. At least you could see a couple of movies at the theatre, plus they have a rush then a break, fast food is all rush.
