She always says she not wealthy but don't you think you have to have some money to get a car like that? That's mostly for wealthy people, do you agree?

Your friend is just being modest. I don't don't particularly like it when people flash their money in front of you. Who cares?

A G35 can get pricey. I bought mine:a fully loaded automatic coupe with all the bells and whistles for 42k total. And that is just an auto, the manual is more pricey....but the base price is about 32k so can be had for 34k total.

Either your friend is in debt or just knows how to save her money. ; )

She obviously doesn't want to flaunt her money, but she definitely knows how to drive a nice car!

To buy it new and not have 1/2 your paycheck going to auto expenses each month you have to have a good job for sure. The G35 is no Accent, costs about 3 times that. Lots of people spend all there money on cars and then when the car is no good they got nothing to show for it. A good rule of thumb is never spend more then 20% of your gross salary on transportation, so if you make $3K a month that would give you $600 about enough to lease the car, pay insurance/gas with nothing left for the money down at signing next time around.

G35's can be leased for about $400 a month with a 2-3 thousand initial out of pocket payment. It all depends on whether or not you think that's wealthy.

Infiniti G35s have very attractive lease rates so she may have leased the car. They are also quite inexpensive used so she may have purchased it used. If she has good credit she might not have even had to put any money down. To purchase a luxury car you really only have to have good credit and a job, not really cash money.

If you can buy an Infiniti without borrowed money you can afford it. I think the Infiniti buyer is one of the smartest buyers but then again I use to work for a Infiniti dealer.
