Can an individual be licensed to practice both pharmacy and medicine, the individual having the prerequisite pharmacy and medical degrees and having fulfilled all other requirements for the two professions.

Also can a pharmacy degree serve as a prerequisite into medical school with no additional exams taken and vice versa. Thanks a lot

I don't know that it's feasible to do the degrees concurrently since I'm sure that both programs are very intense and require a lot of studying and memorizing. Perhaps you can get licensed in either field one at a time. Dr. Howard Murad, the board-certified dermatologist who has his own product line (never tried any though :) is both a pharmacist and dermatologist.

No, I believe most states don't allow it. It is also unethical.
