I keep it to a minimum if I wear any at all. I only put on some sheer concealer if I'm having a red-faced day or have a few blotches, and usually only when I have to go out or go to work. I might use a little mascara if I've lost a bit of sleep and want to look awake. For the most part, I don't wear any, and most guys seem to prefer me natural. It's strange because my skin is far from perfect, but I feel like if I pile it on, it'll only make matters worse!

I prefer wearing a little make-up everyday. I'd rather not, but I guess I put the pressure on myself in that regard, as I am far too conscious of my 'flaws' without it.
I try to keep it to an absolute minimum though - a little eyeliner / mascara and concealer around my eyes (to cover my dark circles), and a lipstick or gloss.
As long as my eyes are 'done' I feel I can go anywhere. I never wear foundation unless I know I'm going somewhere special, but even then I don't usually bother - having clean, moisturised skin is far more important to me — It's healthier.
I wish I could go out without any make-up on but I never feel confident/attractive/brave enough to try it!

I believe, being a female myself, that it depends on the person. For example, I wear makeup, subtley, but I do. This is my personal preference. I have friends who suffer from acne and wear make up to cover their imperfections but wouldn't want to wear it if they didn't have to. On the other hand I have other friends who go as far a tattooing makeup on (not that it's a bad thing) to keep it on all the time. People are born with natural beauty, some see it... others work at making it more apparent. It all depends on the person.

I prefer very little...mascara, lip gloss and maybe a lil bronzer or blush. It's really not very good for your skin especially as you get older.
Most days I wear nothing but a moisturizer.
I don't see make-up as a pain nor is there any pressure to wear it. But I am older and have a good man that makes me feel beautiful so I can't speak for all women.

No I don't feel pressured to pile on the slap, as you said it. I wear make-up whenever I feel like. Plus they I do my make-up normally goes with my mood. Putting too much make-up does not look attractive, it only makes you look like a clown. A little goes a long way. Don't wear make-up because you have to, or someone ask you to. Wear it because it is your choice.

Maybe I'm making assumptions here, but to me, it just sounds like you spend too much time on your makeup, but you don't need to go overboard with makeup to look great.
My daily routine includes a quick and light all-over application of Covergirl Clean pressed powder, green eyeliner on my upper lids only to bring out my hazel green eyes, some mascara and some lipgloss. My makeup looks natural and takes 5 minutes or less to apply. I don't bother with foundation or really defining anything.. I just keep it simple, so I really don't mind wearing makeup.
I might have a few acne scars on my chin that could use foundation or concealer to cover up, but I'm not trying to look perfect here. I just wear enough to make me feel more radiant. Makeup becomes a hassle if you are trying to achieve perfection.

Around the house I don't wear any make-up. I am on the floor with my kids and cleaning not worth putting on my face. If I go to the grocery store I might throw a little powder on to look a little fresher. If I am going out with hubby or friends I might splurge and put on a little powder AND a little lip gloss but only for special occasions hehe. Do you think guys like a lot of make-up on women or do they like the more natural look better??

Personally, I prefer to not wear it at all! I agree with you about it being a huge pain! I do feel prettier and more confident when I have it on though.:( I almost wish that I had never started wearing makeup. My best friend wears only eyeliner and she seems happy and content! Then again, it only takes her a couple of minutes to get ready for work....so she gets ALOT more sleep than me, lol.
Makeup......a necessary evil!!!!

I like to wear makeup---I do not pile it on, if you wear it to look natural and just accent your features, it is not a pain to put on. I work in a law firm, and I am a beauty consultant, so I pretty much wear it all the time. But I feel so much more confident and approachable if I look presentable....
