Ditto all the above, and in fact you'll do better NOT to get your domain name and your hosting site from the same company. That way, if you become dissatisfied with the hosting company, you won't have to change the name of the website: you can just get a new hosting company, move the files, and change the domain name so that it points to the new hosting company! This may and probably will become important to you.

You have to pay a domain name registrar for the domain name & you have to pay them either monthly or yearly for use of that domain. A hosting company allows you to host your site on their servers. So they are 2 different things, although most hosting companies also handle domain name purchases also.

According to my calculations.....You can buy a domain name for a lifetime in advance, but it will cost a pretty penny. You have to constantly pay for the domain name because they change time after time. I know Microsoft is offering a free domain names on their site.

Sports betting became so popular in North America that by the mid 1980’s businessmen from all walks of life began moving to Caribbean Islands to set up toll-free phone-in shops where Americans could fund betting banks with credit card and get paid via check.
