Does anyone else wonder why Clay Aiken wasn't on the Idol Gives Back? Afterall he is the UNICEF ambasador?

and has been for some time.He has recently been in Afghanastan on a mission.I just think he would have been a wonderful addition to this event.He seems so genuine in has concern for children.

Perhaps he is still in Afghanistan or he had other commitments. I`m sure if he had been asked he would have been there if he could.
