I've heard alot about men saying I always knew that I would marry her!
My boyfriend told me that he wants to marry me but when we're ready, we've only been together 8 months. Yet I don't know is there a way to tell if a man is thinking about you in a marrige future type or if he's just with you.

I love him but I'm scared about the future I feel like I'm giving my all, I just want to make sure that we'll end up together in the end for real.

I hear a lot of times women say they are going to marry their boyfriends they day dream about where they will live talk about how many children they want to have and then BOOM they break up, and she's left heart broken!

How do you prevent that?

First, you should just go with the flow. Marriage......way too soon to be talking about it. You two don't REALLY know each other yet. You think you know him and he thinks he knows you but really, you two don't know know each other yet. 8 months is nothing...you two are still in the beginning stage...once you hit the 1 year mark....things will probably start changing or stay the same. Who knows?

You can't go into every relationship thinking about marriage. You go into it taking a chance. Sometimes you win and sometimes you lose. You only learn from your mistakes. If you are not willing to take that chance, then you will never truly fall in love or know what a relationship is all about. People stay together for years before they realize its not going to work. You have to take that chance and invest it into a relationship to see the outcome. If you go into a relationship, thinking about the future or where its going to end up, then you will never have a lasting relationship.

If you love him, enjoy being with him in the now; don't delay having joy in your life until you are married.
There are no sure-things in life, and marrying someone certainly does not guarantee a happy life together.
8 months is not a very long time. How old are you both?
Generally, if a guy has no intention of ever marrying a woman, he'll say so, or something like "I can't ever see myself getting married to anyone." That's guy code for 'I'll never marry you.'
However if he says that he wants to, just not right this minute, take him at his word.
Even if you two don't get married, you can still enjoy each other. Is he sweet, kind and respectful to you? Does he make you feel like the most important girl in the world when you are together? Is he respectful of your relationship when you are apart?
As far as BOOM, a girl getting dumped, how often does that really happen when everything is going great with no glaring signs? Not really that often I'd bet.
So take him at his word and enjoy your time together. Of course he'll want to marry you; you're the best!

There is never any guarantee that the two of you will end up married to one another forever. Love is a gamble and the best you can do is give your all and hope that it will last. The two of you have only been together for eight months....you need to relax and enjoy being together right now. In my opinion, a marriage that has been rushed into..is really just a divorce waiting to happen.

That's the thing about loving someone. You will always be at risk to get your heart broken.

The way I see it is if you love someone - hold on to them. Love them to the fullest and do whatever it takes to make them happy and work through your problems.

There is no real way to know if you'll end up together or not but if you want to be reassured then you need to express these feelings to your man. Hopefully he'll give you some confidence in the matter.

first you have to ask yourself question if you really ready for marridge, if he is the one. Rushing to it is not a good idea. Maybe he is ready for it but you have to be ready to. This is both of you decisione and you have to talk to him how you fill. 4 months 8 months year or two is noting to do with that. If you don't feel that yet, maybe he is not the one. My mom was always telling me you will know and she was right - you will know, but even you know that this is the one you never stop wandering what if I would end up with... or how my life would be now if I would marry John or David. You have to be honest with yourself. Like you said many girls dreaming how many kids they want etc. but guys don't want that, so before you make a decision you have to ask your boyfriend what he wants in life. Don't do this same mistake what I did. My husband was telling me that he always knew I will be his wife one day but he does not want what I want. He does not want kids and I am really ready for it. My advice for you to prevent that is to have a long talk with your boyfriend and be very honest with him. Tell him what you want from life and how you want it to be and he have to do this same. When everything is clear you will know (he will stay or dissapear) GOOD LUCK

If a man will do anything in the world for you and LISTEN to you and ASK YOUR OPINION and TELL YOU HE LOVES YOU A LOT and not look at other women and make love almost everyday with you then you may have just found that Mr right , go for it. if no to any of these beware... they'll haunt you.. those are a few of the most important things. the other is money and a job and a future family. do you both agree on children or not?

I think you are putting too much thought into it. You've been together for 8 months, if he says he wants to marry you then I'm sure he does. There are never any guarantees in relationships, even when you are married. Just enjoy the relationship you have with him now. If it's meant to be, then it will be.

You can't prevent it, no matter what. My husband and I were together for 3 years before we got married. We have a beautiful son together. Now we've been married 8 months and he left me on Sunday.

I found the one I wanted to marry...I guess he didn't though.

One cannot predict the future or what will happen in the future...

Just live life one day at a time..and don't be so fixated on getting married...it if happens hey great...and if it doesn't...it isn't the end of the world ya know
