Think that was a good idea? Your probably thinking how come I'm always wanting to know who gets voted off, well because I have this college class that if I choose the right person to be voted off, than I get extra credit. Which is goodt. So expect more questions from me until the finals. :>

I thought it made sense, because last night was really about something else. One emotion at a time. They'll just eliminate 2 next week, based on the combined numbers.

American Idol is such a crazy phenomenon, isn't it? Not much middle ground.

I don't know quite how I got sucked into it, because I am a bit of a tv snob myself, but I am becoming determined that I will NOT hide my "guilty pleasure". If anyone thinks I am a lifeless airhead, so be it, but I won't be respecting their sense of logic much either lol.

So enjoy your extra credit assignment, damn the torpedoes.

I do wish Lakisha would stop being stubborn, I will be sorry when she gets voted off. However, Idol haters, I DO expect to be able to continue functioning :-))

I don't think anyone would have been voted off. It was all about raising money and I'm sure they feel that would have thrown the whole 'donation' feeling off track. I'm very curious how "close" the voting will be next week. I know who I felt should have went home last night, but I truly believe it was intentional on American Idol's part to not send anyone packing.

Not great. Anyway they'll be booting 2 ppl off next week. makes no difference. They're just giving this week's bottom contestant an extension.

Idol is a talent competition where the weakest contestant gets booted off each week. just because it was a charity week doesn't mean they can't boot someone out. It just means we have to endure another week of that person's bad singing. But if it were a good singer who was supposed to be out this week, then that person's lucky to have a second chance.

That's a great extra credit question, I love it!!

I knew it was going to happen---very early on during the results, Ryan said "in NO ORDER" or "random order" and right then I said "nobody is getting voted off tonight".

I was right!

I'm going to star this for next week so I can give you my prediction!

Actually, I stopped watching American Idol.
Since the SanGAYa fiasco and the total lack of talent by any of the contestants, it turned out to be just a big waste of time.

The only good thing about the show which made it worth watching at all was Haley Scarnato...what a cutie!

What's the term used nowaday's to describe something that is nauseous, repulsive, revolting, repugnant, abhorrent, detestable. and less than desirable....oh right...IT SUX!

Yes, it was good. But, it was sad that they needed to wait to the very end to announce no one's being voted off. If they announced it at the beginning, they would've lost half their viewers. I'm glad they waited until the end and kept the viewers even if they were duped. We all seriously needed to see what's going on in Africa because they have some horrible problems over there that we in the United States cannot comprehend.

I thought it was the best Idol show yet, What they didn't for those children in Africa was amazing!!! I cried my eyes out. See Simon is really nice inside!! :) But yes that was a nice gift to give to all the singers!!

I think people in this country really need to find something else to become obsessed over other than such a lousy TV show.
