I imagine you mean the distributer cap, not the distributer.
That's about $50 worth of stuff, and would take a good mechanic less than an hour to replace. $120 maybe. You can do it yourself pretty easily. Just don't get the wires mixed up.

I'm not trying to sound mean or anything,but a Lexus is nothing but a glorified toyota..you should be able to find everything you need to do the job at your local walmart,or napa auto parts......around $30.00 or less!!!!You will have options though,you can chose the "basic wiring and plugs",or you can opt for the "fancy frills""nice colors""cool metal trims"and even some higher grade of spark plugs.......but they all work pretty much the same...so unless you are planning to "show off"your Lexus's engine,ie;If your selling the thing,or want to impress your buddies at the garage...I would say that the basic elements will suffice,regaurdless what your manual,or mechanic might tell you.

its an import and even though it may take the same amount of time as a domestic car the price will always be higher so depending on where you go it may take between 150 - 300 maybe even more

go to autozone.com and enter you car info and they will have the prices to do it your self. i would say less than 100 bucks.
